Late To The Party, But The Games Are Still Fun

I have sacrificed the old to gain the more recent.

For about the last week I've been playing at my new Playstation 2. In order to even be able to afford something on my meager college budget, I had to hand over to the local gaming store some of my older games. On many of those accounts I was amazed at what I got back for them. Reflecting back on it all, I must have gotten back about $240 in store credit from what I figure are about 25-30 NES games, 15 SNES games, and about 15 Game Boy games. Now I'm enjoying my new stuff and this foray into the PS2 world has been a joyful one so far, for the most part.

I purchased a RedOctane Ignition Dance Pad (for Dance Dance Revolution) last Friday. Two days later, the down arrow developed a mind of its own. I took it back and got it's price in store credit, which wasn't no big loss since I purchased it with credit in the first place. I found it interesting that several days later, I saw the pad I had returned for sale at half price. I bothered not to ask about it.
