Tired Of Being Tired
Will this post lead up to a point? I can't say for sure, and if it doesn't, oh well. This is one of those times that, for once, instead of trying to think of something significant to speak about, I'll write what's on my mind and make it up as I go along. If I stumble across something, well then, it's nice to have some filler material.
I recently upgraded the processor in my computer, Serenity (I didn't pick the name), from a Celeron 433mhz to a 1.1ghz. I suppose it should be mentioned that it's actually a Socket 370 processor mounted in a Slot 1 adapter card, which is how I'm using that processor in an older machine. Unfortunately, the motherboard only runs it at 800mhz, which means there's 300mhz of clock speed inaccessible from my current setup. That and Windows has blue-screened on me every 5 minutes after bootup since I put the new processor in. I just reinstalled XP. Hopefully that'll configure it to the new processor. Crossing fingers, crossing fingers...
