too much procrastination

I could say I've had too much of a good thing.

It's been over a week without blogging. I should cut back on all the computer gaming (though in real life conversations I'll never admit that). The best news to come in the 1+ weeks since my last blog is that I've been accepted to the University of Iowa. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it all.

The pressure is really on now, and not just college wise. I have less than a week till my Hesse project is due and I know I can get it done... if I ever get started on it that is. I'm terrible at getting homework done during extended breaks, which is why I have some stuff to finish up tomorrow during early bird and 2nd hour. If they give me any homework during Christmas break, I'm afraid to think of how far I'll push it away.

Not all my concerns are academic though. Christmas shopping for me is in a couple weeks. Mom says I should get presents for her using some of my Walmart gift cards due to the date they'll expire, which is who-knows-when. I don't have any money right now so I guess I'll have to go with that. I'm also ordering in a game for some of my cousins later this week, there goes more money down the drain. Oh well.

I can't really think of anything positive to post about with this pressure on me.
