School, work, laziness
It's been a pretty cripling week for me. I don't know if I can keep up the pattern of procrastination - work - procrastination - work etc. much longer. I think procrastination and work should both be done in one lump sum separately.
I've done studying for tests, working on a lab report for AP Biology... while at the same time fitting in games of Day of Defeat because, well, that's my method of procrastination. I'm finally almost caught up with everything except my Hesse project, which is due two weeks from tomorrow and I haven't started up on it yet.
In other news, in the ALPHA room where I, among other ALPHA students hang out, the best way to waste time is with games of Lunch Money, a card game that simulates playground brawls. It's really fun and always brings up some laughs and taunting. Almost every ALPHA student has gotten in on the game at least once. The student who ordered it in got its expansion, Sticks and Stones which really gives you more ways to dish out pain. Just make sure no one puts the Hippie card on you.
In Composition & Rhethoric, we're now on a new unit on refutation, or pointing out fallicies in people's arguments. I chose Paganism for my topic. I know there's been some accusations thrown against paganism in the past and seeing how I'm researching into celtic shamanism right now (which is a spiritual practice and not necessarly a religion in itself though), I want to have fun pointing out all the ways people mess up their arguments, like those that say "Paganism is 100% satanic!". Jumping the gun indeed.
