Mmmm... no school
I, as well as the rest of the student body of CFHS was granted a half-day today due to conference, along with a day off tomorrow. It's good that I'll get to be a bum on a Friday for once.
A lot of happenings today actually. I was looking up celtic shamanism and I found a site that discusses it and offers plans and studies revolving around it. They also had a link to their Yahoo! group, which I joined today. I'm hoping, yep, still hoping that the celtic shaman books I ordered off Ebay arrive tomorrow or Saturday. After all, today was Veteran's Day so there was no mail. (btw, I'd like to extend a big thanks to all the men and women that served in the past and who do their duty today. The same goes for my fromer grandpa and my still-living grandma)
I took some time today to try getting my RAM off Ebay to work in my 486. I tried some cominations, not all possible ones though and I kept getting error signals. If none of the ram works on that, then I got the wrong kind and I'm out 8 dollars lol. I did notice something more disheartening though - one of the pins in my monitor's VGA plug are bent out. I can still plug it in, but I'm wondering if that's the reason why no image appears on my monitor when it's on or if it's the motherboard swear-beeping at me. I'm sure I can pick out some 4-letter word from its error beeps with enough (aka too much) free time on my hands.
I'm off to play some Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, hope I don't get fragged too much.
